Did Imran Khan sell state gifts illegally? Ex-PM faces probe over necklace deal

Imran Khan is facing a probe for allegedly selling state gifts during his tenure as the premier of Pakistan. The Pakistan's FIA is probing Imran Khan in a case pertaining to the selling of an expensive necklace that was gifted by a foreign dignitary to the ex-PM. The necklace was allegedly sold for Rs. 18 crore to a jeweller in Lahore by an aide of Imran Khan. Reports say that in lieu of the necklace, only a few lakh rupees were deposited in state gift repository. The Pakistani opposition in 2021 had accused Imran Khan of selling the state gifts and with Imran out of power, he is now facing the probe for the same. Watch the video for more.
