Explained: Taliban gets offer to share power by Afghan govt

With Taliban's rapid advance continuing in Afghanistan, the Ashraf Ghani government has reportedly made an offer to the terror group to end violence. During talks in Qatar's Doha, the Afghan government offered a power-sharing deal to the Taliban, as per an AFP report. This came as the terrorist group captured Ghazni city, just 150 km from the national capital of Kabul. In a span of 5 days, 9 provincial capitals have fallen to the Taliban.
