Former US President George HW Bush dies at 94

Former US president George HW Bush passed away at the age of 94 on November 30. The World War II hero helped steer America through the end of the Cold War. His presidency soared with the coalition victory over Iraq in Kuwait. Bush had also served in the US Navy as a pilot in his early days. Bush was married to Barbara Bush who died on 17 April 2018. The 41st president of the US served from 1989 to 1993, and eight years later watched his son George W became the 43rd president. The Republican was defeated in his bid for a second term by Democrat Bill Clinton in 1992.
