A California-based freediver has been given the seal of approval whilst fishing. John Dornellas, a watersports and spearfishing instructor, took the video whilst out fishing for White Sea Bass in Southern California. Dornellas kept getting bumped into by a playful seal pup until it was comfortable enough to hitch rides on his back. Dornellas holds two world records in spearfishing, but on this occasion, he failed to make a catch. 'The fact that we came home with no fish was made up for by this indelible experience.' Dornellas said.
