'Had warned of consequences': Ghani laments as Taliban fear grips Afghans

Afghan president Ashraf Ghani has blamed "abrupt" U.S withdrawal for the ongoing security scenario in Afghanistan. Ghani said in an address to Afghan parliamentarians that he had already warned U.S president of consequences as a result of troop withdrawal from the country. He said that Taliban attacks across Afghanistan are well-planned and well-organised and claimed that the Taliban are being aided by international terrorist groups and spy agencies - an attempt reference to Pakistan's ISI. The Taliban have launched massive offensive across the Afghanistan to take control of the territory from the Afghan government. Currently, 200 districts of Afghanistan are under Taliban control.
