'Heads bashed...': Jinping on China's foes amid Communist Party's centenary fest

• On July 1, China celebrated the centenary of its ruling Communist Party, with President Xi Jinping presiding over the festivities at Beijing's Tiananmen Square. The celebrations involved a military parade in which Chinese state media highlighted the participation of J-20 stealth aircraft. Addressing the gathering, Jinping issued a warning to China's adversaries that they would collide with a 'great wall of steel' and have their heads bashed bloody if they try to 'subjugate' the country.
