IDF Hunts Down Hamas Commander Taysir Mubasher Who Led 22 Years Of Deadly Attacks On Israel

The IDF and Israel Security Service, the Shin Bet, killed top Hamas commander; Taysir Mubasher in a joint operation. Mubasher was the commander of Hamas's North Sector Battalion in Khan Younis, who over the years had led a number of deadly attacks against IDF soldiers and Israeli citizens, according to Israel Defence Forces. The IDF also said it carried out dozens of airstrikes in the Gaza Strip overnight, including against Hamas tunnels, command centers, weapons storage sites, and mortar and anti-tank missile launch sites .
