- In a viral video, Pakistan Cricket Board’s newly minted chief Ramiz Raja made startling claims about the International Cricket Council’s funding and expressed his worries about Pakistan cricket’s future. Raja said “90% of ICC is funded by Indian markets and PCB receives 50% of its funding from the ICC. So, in a way, the Indian businesses are keeping Pakistan cricket going and if the Indian PM wants, he can pull the plug on it, this board can crumble”. Ramiz Raja, who is also a former Pakistan cricket player, made the claims after his country was recently snubbed by England and New Zealand from bilateral match series.
