'India should...': Obama slams China, Russia, Trump on climate change | COP26

At COP26, former United States President Barack Obama criticised China and Russia for a ‘dangerous lack of urgency’ in cutting their climate emissions. Chinese president Xi Jinping and his Russian counterpart Vladimir Putin skipped the 26th United Nations Climate Change Conference (COP26) in Glasgow. “It was particularly discouraging to see the leaders of two of the world’s largest emitters, China and Russia, decline to even attend the proceedings, and their national plans reflect what appears to be a dangerous lack of urgency,” said Obama. He also criticized Trump for pulling out of the Paris agreement & ‘4 years of active hostility’ towards climate science. Watch the full video for more.
