India stunned Israel and the U.S. as it joined 153 nations, who voted overwhelmingly at the UN General Assembly to demand a humanitarian ceasefire in Gaza. The U.S. and Israel were joined by a mere eight nations to oppose the resolution while 23 others abstained. The vote is being seen as a massive setback and global isolation of the U.S. and Israel amid the raging war in Gaza. Palestine thanked India for always showing solidarity with Gaza.
