Iran said it had seized a British oil tanker in the Strait of Hormuz on Friday. The tanker was headed to a port in Saudi Arabia and suddenly changed course. Tanker's operator said in a statement that the ship couldn't be contacted. According to Iran's state news agency IRNA, the vessel ignored warnings and sailed in the wrong direction. “There are 23 seafarers onboard of Indian, Russian, Latvian and Filipino nationality,” said Erik Hanell, president and chief executive of Stena Bulk. Britain is 'looking at a diplomatic way to resolve the situation'.
