Iran’s ‘Wave 88’ hits Israeli tech, food and port lifelines in new war phase

Iran is expanding its war strategy beyond pure military targets, striking Israeli telecom and industrial hubs in a bid to trigger a communications blackout and deepen the country’s food and economic crisis. The latest “Wave 88” of Iran’s Operation True Promise 4 reportedly hit facilities linked to Siemens and AT&T near Ben Gurion Airport and in Haifa, aiming at software, cloud and A.I. networks that support Israeli military and economic infrastructure.
