- Israel launched airstrikes on Gaza on Sunday night in Khan Yunis of the southern Gaza strip. The strikes were launched after incendiary balloons launched from the Palestinian enclave caused fires in the Jewish state, with no reported injuries on either side. Israel also reduced the fishing zone off Gaza from 12 nautical miles to 6 nautical miles following the fresh escalation. The strikes reportedly targeted a Hamas militant training site.
