Israel’s move to release some Palestinian detainees has led to a major controversy amid the raging Gaza war. National Security Minister of Israel Itamar Ben Gvir lashed out at the IDF & Shin Bet over the decision to release them. Israeli security agency Shin bet & IDF said the move was needed to make room in prisons. Ben Gvir hit out, accusing the Shin Bet of giving Palestinians a “gesture for Ramadan”.
