Justin Trudeau wins historic third term but fails to get majority | Canada polls

Justin Trudeau hung on to power in hotly contested polls against conservative leader Erin O'Toole. However, Trudeau failed to get an absolute majority, as per projections by Canadian TV broadcasters. Trudeau, in his speech, thanked all his supporters & vowed to work for all Canadians. "You are sending us back to work with a clear mandate to get us through the pandemic and to the brighter days ahead. My friends, that is exactly what we are ready to do," said Trudeau. Trudeau was re-elected to a third term on Monday after calling a vote two years early. Trudeau, who was in power from 2015, has now won 3 general elections in less than 6 years.
