Venezuelan President Nicolás Maduro’s son, Nicolas Maduro Guerra, has launched an international campaign urging global bodies and parliaments to demand his father’s release following the U.S. military capture of Maduro and his wife. Maduro Guerra proposed a consensus document denouncing what he calls “aggression and kidnapping” and called for international commissions to mobilize support, portraying Maduro as a symbol of resistance against foreign intervention.
