Miss Universe National Costume Show: Colours, Creativity and Imagination

Miss Universe contest staged its annual custom show in Thailand on December 10. Flamboyance, imagination and creativity were all to the fore before the final competition. Costumes were inspired by the natural world, folklore, traditions and famous landmarks. 93 women took to the stage with an original twist to their national costume. Miss Universe India, Nehal Chudasama's outfit drew on ancient Indian history. Audience were amazed at her physical strength as much as on her evocation of a glorious past. The biggest roar of the evening was reserved for the local favorite. Thailand's Sophida Kanchanarin combined traditional clothing with a playful elephant companion.
