Moulin Rouge | Paris’ famous cabaret celebrates 130th anniversary

The Moulin Rouge celebrated its 130th anniversary with a lights and dance show October 6. The light show tracked the history of the Moulin Rouge from 1899. The celebrated cabaret and restaurant opened as a ballroom; later turned into a music hall. The French cabaret is famous for its high-kicking cancan dancers & costumes. Popularised by its trademark cancan dancers, it was a huge success during the Belle Epoque.
