Mullah Akhundzada to lead Taliban govt; Baradar in charge of governance

A new government led by Taliban supreme leader Mullah Hibatullah Akhundzada is all set to be announced in coming days in Afghanistan. According to Taliban, the consultations over what they call an inclusive government have concluded and a new cabinet will be announced soon. The government will be headed by Taliban chief and Mullah Baradar, one of his three deputies, will look after governance issues. As of now, preparations are underway at Kabul presidential palace for a grand ceremony which is likely to be attended by Mullah Hibatullah Akhundzada himself.
