Niger's Junta issued a 48 hour-ultimatum to the French Ambassador to leave the country. A letter was issued by the Nigerien Ministry of Foreign Affairs over the issue. The letter accused Ambassador Sylvain Itted of ignoring invitation for a meeting. The letter also said the actions of the French Government are contrary to Niger's interests.
