‘No evidence...': How Pak Army refused to back Imran Khan against United States

Pakistan’s powerful Army has contradicted Prime Minister Imran Khan’s remarks. Khan had accused the United States of hatching a conspiracy to topple his government. Pak Army said there was no evidence of interference in the country’s internal matters, as per a report. Khan had chaired a meeting of the National Security Committee (NSC) on March 27 to discuss the issue of a ‘threatening letter’ to remove his government. Khan pedaled the narrative that Army top leaders endorsed the letter and its threatening context was genuine.
