No new tariffs, says Donald Trump as US-China decide to restart trade talks

President of the United States of America, and his Chinese counterpart, held a bilateral meeting on the sidelines of the G20 summit in Japan's Osaka. The meeting generated a lot of buzz given the ongoing economic acrimony between two nations. The talks between Donald Trump and Xi Jinping also gave fresh hope of resolution of the trade war between two of the world's largest economies, which has roiled global markets. Addressing the press after the meeting, Trump said no fresh tariffs would be imposed on Chinese goods being imported by the US.
