'Not alone in war on terror’: Afghans welcome US support in bombing Taliban

The United States has announced to continue its aerial strikes against Taliban targets in Afghanistan after its military pullout from the country on August 31. A top U.S general who was in Kabul told media that the America will continue its support to Afghan army which is currently battling Taliban insurgents across the country. The Afghan forces have welcomed the American support, saying that the war against terror is the responsibility of entire world and not just Afghanistan. The Taliban currently control half of Afghanistan while fierce fighting is underway in contested districts of the country.
