- US President Joe Biden launched a blistering attack on the Russian President at the United Nations General Assembly in New York. Biden denounced the Russian invasion and urged the world to stand with Ukraine. He also said that it was Putin who sought the conflict as no one threatened him. He further added that Putin 'shamelessly' violated the UN charter and attacked Ukraine. He also vowed to defend Ukraine and promised 'massive' military and economic aid to the war-torn country.
