Pak faces terror funding heat; Likely to be retained on FATF 'grey list'

The fate of Pakistan hangs in the balance - the nation has been on the 'grey list' since 2018. The FATF working group & plenary meetings began in Paris yesterday & will continue till 4th March. Meetings will assess Pakistan's efforts to prosecute leaders of un-designated terror groups. Pak has often faced global flak for shortcomings in counter-terror financing & anti-money laundering measures. FATF retained Pakistan on the 'grey list' in 2021, stating the nation has not complied with 2 action plans in their entirety. While FATF sought more action from Pakistan last year, just weeks later, a case against 3 key LeT leaders collapsed. Watch the full video for more.
