Pakistan’s ceasefire violation has killed 11 in 4 days. How many more?

An Army jawan injured in ceasefire violation by Pakistan in Poonch district of Jammu and Kashmir succumbed on Saturday night, taking the death toll in the border firing to 11 since Thursday, police said. Signalman Chandan Kumar Rai, posted in a forward post in Mankote sector of Poonch district, was grievously injured when Pakistani army initiated unprovoked and indiscriminate firing in Mendhar sector around 4.30 pm on Saturday, northern army spokesman Col NN Joshi.
