Patriot denied, Freya activated! Ukraine gets new missile after Zelensky’s emotional plea rejected?

Ukrainian President Volodymyr Zelensky said Ukraine is working to develop its own ballistic missiles and build a large-scale anti-ballistic missile programme with support from European partners. Speaking on August 6, Zelensky also stressed Ukraine’s urgent need for air defence systems and long-range missiles, saying the United States knows exactly what Kyiv requires to protect civilians and infrastructure. He called for direct talks and political decisions from the US, Europe and G7 countries. Meanwhile, US President Donald Trump said Washington has “massive amounts of ammunition” but acknowledged that the US continues to replenish its stocks. Trump said American defence companies are expanding production of weapons including Patriot systems and Tomahawk missiles. Trump also claimed that Russia and Ukraine are losing an average of 25,000 people a month, mostly soldiers, and said he believes progress is being made towards ending the conflict.
