Big Provocation by Canada days after Prime Minister Narendra Modi met his Canadian counterpart Justin Trudeau during the G7 summit in Italy on June 15. Canada's House of Commons observed a “moment of silence” on June 18 to mark the first anniversary of the killing of Khalistani terrorist Hardeep Singh Nijjar. The Indian mission in Vancouver reciprocated by calling the diaspora in Canada to gather at the Air India Memorial in Vancouver to express solidarity against terrorism on June 23—the 39th anniversary of the Kanishka bombing.
