A terror alert was raised and the Westminster Bridge closed down on Tuesday morning after a car crashed into barriers outside the Houses of Parliament in London, injuring at least two people. London's Metropolitan Police said Counter-Terrorism Command was leading the investigation and while no options were being ruled out, they were keeping an open mind. Social media was abuzz with user generated posts, pictures and videos of police and ambulances taking over the road adjacent to the Houses of Parliament at the security barrier which has injured a number of pedestrians.
