- Russians flock to other countries after President Vladimir Putin announced a military call-up of 300,000 reservists as he seeks to stay longer in the Ukraine war. Putin's decision has triggered panic among many Russian citizens. Hundreds of them have fled to other nations like Turkey where they can enter without any visa. Almost all flights to Turkey are sold out from Moscow and fares have increased drastically. On the borders with Finland, Georgia and Kazakhstan, Russians can be seen waiting in their cars to cross the border.
