Putin 'readies' 2 L troops to attack Kyiv in 2023; Russia bombs Kherson 16 times

Russian forces shelled Kherson 16 times in a single day. Ukraine claimed that Russian bombardment killed two civilians. However, Russia-installed officials claimed that they saw one of the worst attacks since 2014 on Thursday. Meanwhile, Ukraine's defence chiefs fear that Russia is planning to attack Kyiv at the beginning of the next year and is preparing 2 lakh troops for the same. The European Union has decided to provide Ukraine 18 million euros in funding next year. This as they slapped the ninth round of sanctions on Russia for invading Ukraine in February this year.
