Updated on Apr 25, 2019 11:55 pm IST
Russian President Vladimir Putin met his North Korean counterpart Kim Jong Un in Vladivostok. The two discussed a range of issues, including the denuclearisation of the Korean peninsula. While Kim called the talks 'fruitful', Putin said that the North Korean leader had asked him to inform the President of the United States of America, Donald Trump, about the dialogue. Just months ago, Kim had participated in a summit with Trump, but the two had failed to achieve a breakthrough.
