Putin's govt praises Jaishankar for taking a stand on buying Russian oil

• Russian Foreign Minister Sergey Lavrov has praised the decades-old India-Russia relationship. Addressing an event at the Moscow state institute of international relations on September 1, Lavrov said that India has always been one of our (Russia) key priorities and our ties with India are characterised as a special & privileged strategic partnership. He also lauded India for not supporting the US-led Western sanctions against Moscow over the Ukraine invasion. The Russian Foreign Minister further praised his Indian counterpart S Jaishankar for publicly rejecting criticism over purchasing Russian oil. Watch this video to know more.
