Indian-origin conservative MP, Rishi Sunak got the much-needed support of Tory MPs in his bid to contest the UK PM Race. According to the Independent, citing sources, Sunak crossed the minimum nomination threshold required to contest for the PM Post. Several MPs also tweeted in favour of Sunak as the next UK PM. However, former PM Boris Johnson is eying a comeback for the top post. According to British media reports, Johnson told Sunak to stand down.
