Rishi Sunak denies Racism in UK PM race; Admits ‘playing catch-up with Truss'

- UK's Prime Ministerial contender Rishi Sunak has denied racism in the race to replace Boris Johnson. Days after conservative party donor Lord Ranger blamed racism for Rishi's likely loss, UK MP has clarified that racism has no role in British PM race. Rishi said that "Gender, ethnicity and everything else will have nothing to do with it". This is after polls suggest that Rishi is trailing behind UK foreign secretary Liz Truss in the PM race.
