Rishi Sunak pitches to fix UK economy as he declares candidacy for British PM post

Rishi Sunak has finally declared his candidacy for the British Prime Minister post. Taking to Twitter, Indian-origin Sunak made a campaign pitch promising to fix UK's economy if made the PM. “The United Kingdom is a great country but we face a profound economic crisis. That’s why I am standing to be leader of the Conservative Party and your next Prime Minister.” wrote Sunak. He was defeated by Elizabeth Truss in the race to replace Boris Johnson in September after losing an election held by members of the Conservative party across the country. Watch this video for more.
