Russia embarrassed at UN; Over 100 diplomats walkout during Minister's speech

Over 100 diplomats walked out of a speech by the Russian Foreign Minister to the top UN human rights forum. Diplomats from some 40 Western countries & allies including Japan protested Russia’s Ukraine invasion. Ukrainian Ambassador Yevheniia Filipenko who led the walkout was joined by diplomats of various countries. The diplomats stood in a circle outside the meeting for the duration of Lavrov's speech, holding a Ukrainian flag. Sergei Lavrov was addressing the U.N. Human Rights Council remotely, after cancelling his visit. The Russian mission said his visit was cancelled due to ‘anti-Russian sanctions’ imposed by EU nations. Watch the full video for more.
