Russia successfully tests Zircon hypersonic missile amid tensions with Ukraine

Amid tensions with Ukraine, Russia successfully conducted multiple launch tests of its hypersonic missile Zircon. The Russian military successfully fired a simultaneous salvo of Zircon hypersonic missiles on Thursday night. Russian president Vladimir Putin hailed the missile test, calling it ' a big event' for the country. Putin lauded the missile as part of a new generation of unrivaled arms systems. Putin said the missile worked against both naval and ground targets. “The tests were conducted successfully, immaculately.
