With winter approaching quickly, worry is growing in Ukraine as its counter-offensive falters, and the spectre of Russian bombing of its energy infrastructure looms. Against this bleak backdrop, a Ukrainian legislator - Lesia Vasylenko - admitted in a television interview that Russia was winning the "protracted conflict".
