The foreign ministry of Saudi Arabia has issued a fiery statement after White House spokesperson John Kirby's claims suggested that Riyadh is prepared to normalize relations before there is a ceasefire in Gaza and without progress toward Palestinian statehood. Saudi Arabia clarified that there will be "no diplomatic relations with Israel unless an independent Palestinian state is recognized, Israeli aggression on the Gaza Strip stops and all Israeli occupation forces withdraw from the Gaza Strip."
