Sri Lankans VS Army: Tanks guard Parliament as anger over Gotabaya intensifes

- As the political and economic crisis worsens in Sri Lanka, the army there has deployed tanks to guard the Parliament as protesters continue to take over government buildings in anger against President Gotabaya Rajapaksa. Earlier, protesters stormed the Prime Minister’s Office on Flower Road after clashes with army personnel. The Sri Lankan army has now authorised the members of the armed forces and the police to exercise their force to prevent destruction of life and property. Watch this video for more information.
