Three American women set off on Thursday to paddle from Havana to Key West, as they hope to set a new Guinness record with their crossing. With calm waters under their boards, Americans Aimee Spector, Cynthia Aguilar and Karen Kim are preparing for the paddleboarding experience of a lifetime. “I think the hardest part is just the fatigue. It's going to take us about 24 hours so paddling all through the night, having those challenges of staying focused and staying energized…” said Aimee Spector, one of the paddle boarders.
