Ukrainians are paying a heavy price for Vladimir Putin’s "winter blackout strategy." Russian strikes have destroyed almost half of Ukraine’s energy infrastructure. Over 10 million Ukrainians are living in darkness. In an interview with the BBC, Ukraine's biggest private energy firm chief, Maxim Timchenko, advised Ukrainians to leave the country to reduce the strain on the damaged grid.
