US Air Force aims to fly B-52 till 2050s, 100 years after bomber 1st took to sky

- Legend of the Cold War, the iconic B-52 Stratofortress is getting a major facelift. There are attempts being made to fly B-52 bombers until the 2050s - 100 years after they first took to the sky. The B-52 Stratofortress is the most combat-capable bomber in United States' inventory. Bomber is capable of employing both nuclear & conventional precision standoff weapons. The US Air Force plans to give a major engine & radar upgrades to the iconic bombers. Watch this report to know more.
