Top U.S. lawmakers have urged the Biden administration to address the issue of India's lengthy visa wait times on a priority basis. The U.S. State Department officials have asked a congressional committee why people in India were facing visa wait time up to 600 days. The request was made just a few days before Indian Prime Minister Narendra Modi's visit to the U.S., which will take place from June 21 to 24.
