The United Arab Emirates (UAE) has voiced strong criticism of Israel during the United Nations General Assembly, calling for the establishment of an independent Palestinian state. UAE Foreign Minister Sheikh Abdullah bin Zayed Al Nahyan stated that the UAE will not support any post-war plans for Gaza unless they include provisions for Palestinian sovereignty.
