The US State Department has put the Milli Muslim League (MML) on its list of foreign terrorist organisations. The MML is controlled and led by Hafiz Saeed, who is also the founder of Lashlar-e-Taiba (LeT). LeT was responsible for the 26/11 Mumbai attack. According to the US, Milli Muslim League is just an alias of LeT. The MML came into notice after it fielded a candidate in the September 2017 by-election for the seat of deposed Prime Minister Nawaz Sharif.
