Watch | Baby elephant christened by newspaper readers

A male elephant calf at an Australian zoo has been named Sabai, a Thai name that was the most popular moniker among readers of the Daily Telegraph who took part in a naming competition. “The name was suggested by Belle Lordan from Dubbo, Australia and means peaceful, happy, relaxed or comfortable”, said Mandy Turner from the Taronga Western Plains Zoo.
