Watch | Dancing Northern Lights brightened Iceland night sky

Astronomy enthusiast Sævar Helgi Bragason managed to capture a striking aurora display as it brightened the night sky of Reykjavik. Aware that the Northern Lights might make an appearance that night, Bragason and his friend Snorri Thor Tryggvason of Iceland Aurora Films, headed to Perlan, a landmark building in the Icelandic capital, which offers some of the best views. A geology graduate, Bragason said that the aurora 'outburst' was so sudden that he had no choice but to film it handheld, not having enough time to mount the camera on a tripod.
