Watch: Fire rages on ocean surface in Gulf of Mexico, video goes viral

• Video of fire breaking out on surface of the Gulf of Mexico has gone viral. The fire reportedly broke out after a gas leak from an underwater pipeline. State oil company Pemex informed that the blaze has been extinguished. Bright orange flames jumping out of the water resembled molten lava. The circular shaped blaze raged a short distance from a Pemex oil platform. According to Pemex, the fire took more than five hours to fully doused. Pemex said no injuries were reported & production from the project was not affected. The gas leak, which ignited around 5:15 am local time, extinguished by 10:30 am. The company added that it would investigate the cause of the fire.
